About the Journal
Aims and Scope
The collection of scientific papers aims to provide the academic and teaching community, as well as educational practitioners, with opportunities to address the following objectives: exploring historical and theoretical issues of art history; examining problems of theory, the history of art education, and methods of teaching music, choreography, visual, and other arts; and identifying ways to improve the quality of art education while integrating diverse approaches regarding the role of art in contemporary culture.
Target audience: researchers, methodologists, art teachers of specialized art schools and general secondary education institutions in Ukraine and abroad, university lecturers, higher education applicants, and staff of cultural and arts institutions and organizations.
Main directions of the publication:

- Art in the socio-cultural continuum
The collection of scientific papers "Art in Contemporary Culture: Theory and Practice of Education" is included in the List of Scientific Professional Editions of Ukraine (Category "B") in the field of Pedagogical Sciences for the following specialties: 011 – Educational and Pedagogical Sciences, 014 – Secondary Education (by subject specializations), 015 – Professional Education (by specializations), according to the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 920 dated June 26, 2024 (the annex to the decree can be downloaded here).
All materials are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License, which allows others to distribute the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
