THE JOURNAL «PERSONALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES» DOES NOT PERMIT ANY SCIENTIFIC (SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL) COOPERATION WITH REPRESENTATIVES, ORGANISATIONS, INSTITUTIONS OR ENTERPRISES OF THE AGGRESSOR STATE – THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION, AS WELL AS THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS, WITH WHOSE SUPPORT THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IS CARRYING OUT AGGRESSION AGAINST UKRAINE (INCLUDING JOINT SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS, IMPLEMENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS, CONDUCT OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, ETC.).

Open Access Policy

The journal provides immediate open access to all its content in accordance with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

All articles in the journal are freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to without any financial, legal or technical restrictions. Users are permitted to reuse the materials provided that authorship and the source are properly cited.

All content is freely available at no cost to users or their institutions and may be used without prior permission from the publisher or author.

The journal does not charge subscription fees or paywalls. Intellectual property rights remain with the authors. The journal uses the CC Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence.

Coverage of modern scientific research in environmental psychology, personality psychology and social psychology, theoretical and methodological aspects of environmental awareness, improving the quality of environmental education and the experience of best eco-psychological practices.

Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The use of AI is governed by Article 33 of the Law of Ukraine on Copyright, the EU AI Act, and UNESCO recommendations.

The journal permits a maximum level of AI tool usage in manuscripts of no more than 10–15%, interpreting this as technical editing. The author's creative contribution must remain predominant.


PROCEDURE FOR THE EXAMINATION OF COMPLAINTS

This Procedure covers plagiarism, fabrication of data, copyright infringement, and unethical review.

  • Submission: Complaints must be sent to person.envir.iss@gmail.com.
  • Review: The Editor-in-Chief conducts an initial assessment, followed by a substantive review involving independent experts.
  • Decisions: Dismissal, corrections, retraction, or refusal of further publications for the authors.
  • Timelines: Parties are informed within one month. Confidentiality is maintained.

PROCEDURE FOR WITHDRAWAL OF ARTICLES

Articles may be withdrawn (retracted) due to data falsification, plagiarism, or double publication. The decision is made by the Editorial Board. The retracted article remains accessible but marked clearly as «Retracted» to preserve the scientific record.
