AI Usage Policy

Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is governed by a set of regulatory and advisory documents. These include:
•    The Law of Ukraine ‘On Copyright and Related Rights’ (Article 33);
•    The European Union Artificial Intelligence Act;
•    UNESCO recommendations;
•    White Paper on AI Regulation in Ukraine: the Ministry of Digital Transformation’s vision. Consultation version (2024);
•    Draft instructional and methodological recommendations on the introduction and use of artificial intelligence technologies in general secondary education institutions (2024);
•    Order of the Mykhailo Kotsyubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University dated 31 October 2025 No. 203 on the Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Educational and Scientific Activities at the Mykhailo Kotsyubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University.

The journal «PERSONALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES» permits a maximum level of AI tool usage in textual works of no more than 10–15%, interpreting this as an acceptable proportion of technical editing of the material. The rationale for this limit is based on the technical capabilities of AI detectors and the need to ensure the predominance of the author’s creative contribution, in accordance with the requirements of Article 33 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Copyright and Related Rights’.
