Abstract
This article explores innovative approaches in the professional training of future decorative arts specialists, with a particular focus on artistic woodworking. It highlights the necessity of a synergy between preserving authentic folk art traditions, integrating digital technologies (CAD/CAM, 3D modeling, laser cutting, CNC engraving), and leveraging the achievements of advanced manufacturing technologies. It is argued that the quality of professional training for decorative arts specialists, especially in artistic woodworking, can be significantly enhanced through a transdisciplinary approach that integrates pedagogy, design thinking, cultural studies, and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. The analysis of the current educational landscape revealed a number of problems, including an insufficient integration of traditional and innovative methods, a lack of methodologies for using digital technologies, a limited focus on practical components, an uneven level of artistic training among educators, and a low level of interdisciplinary collaboration. The study proposes promising directions for modernizing the educational process. These include developing integrated learning modules, implementing project-based learning, creating innovative educational spaces, fostering digital competence, and establishing partnerships with the industry. The paper emphasizes the importance of shaping a "techno-artist" who is capable of creatively synthesizing traditional craft techniques with innovative approaches. It is substantiated that effective professional training for future decorative arts specialists is achieved by synthesizing these innovative approaches: implementing advanced manufacturing and digital technologies; developing new educational and methodological materials; creating professional development programs for educators; and updating curricula to include elements such as project-based learning, STEAM education, design thinking, and digital prototyping practices.Downloads
