Author Guidelines
Publication frequency of the collection of scientific papers "Public Administration and Law: History, Theory, Practice" - 2 times a year (June, December).
Articles, bibliographic and source-study reviews, and reviews of new publications in Ukrainian and English that correspond to the profile of the journal and the current state of science, and have not been previously published, are accepted for publication. Authors of the articles can be: Doctors and Candidates of Sciences, young scientists (adjuncts, postgraduate students, degree-seeking students), as well as other persons with higher education engaged in scientific activity.
The editorial board of the collection of scientific papers does not consider descriptive and review articles, as well as those that are not of general interest and do not contain significant conclusions. Each article necessarily undergoes a plagiarism check and peer review by leading experts in the relevant scientific field. Publication takes place considering the dates of article submission and the completion of the review. As a result, the article may be recommended for publication, returned for revision, or rejected. No more than one article by the same author can be published in a single issue. The editorial board reserves the right to edit and abridge articles.
The presentation of the article should be concise, logical, and adhere to an academic style. The text must be proofread for spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors. The author of the article is responsible for the accuracy of the presented material, for the material belonging to them personally, and for the correct citation of sources and references to them. Articles whose formatting does not meet the specified requirements are not accepted for publication.
MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS
General requirements:

- formulation of the problem in general terms and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks (relevance of the research topic);
- analysis of recent research and publications that initiated the solution to this problem and on which the author relies, highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which the article is dedicated;

Main requirements for the abstract: informativeness (absence of general words); content (reflection of the main content of the article and research results); structuredness (compliance with the structure of the article).

Abstract in English, which is a translation of the abstract from the language of the publication text and includes the author's surname and first name, and the title of the article. Volume of at least 1800 characters without spaces.
We emphasize that the abstract in English is not a technical translation! Translating solely with the help of an online translator neutralizes the author's style and increases the risk of errors and factual inaccuracies.
Volume of author manuscripts: from 12 pages.
A4 sheet format; all margins 2 cm; Times New Roman font, size 14 pt, "normal" ("regular") style; line spacing – 1.5; paragraph indent – 1.25 cm (automatic); the text must be typed without hyphenation, justified;

"List of used sources" is presented in a section at the end of the article (font size – 12, single-spaced) in alphabetical order (sources in a foreign language are given at the beginning of the list).
When formatting the list of used sources, one should adhere to DSTU 8302:2015 "Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General principles and rules of composition" (see examples of formatting the list here: Radchenko A.I. Methodological recommendations regarding the new standard "Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of composition" (DSTU 8302:2015) / A.I. Radchenko; PH "Akademperiodyka" NAS of Ukraine. 2nd ed., enlarged. Kyiv: Akademperiodyka, 2017. 18 p. (https://akademperiodyka.org.ua/sites/default/files/manual_Radchenko_2017.pdf) or use the automatic bibliographic reference formatting service "Grafiati" (https://www.grafiati.com/en/).
Formatting the transliterated list of literature – References in the Roman alphabet (Latin) must be maximally acceptable for international databases and is performed based on the transliteration of the original language into Latin. References are presented after the list of used sources (font size – 12, single-spaced). References must be formatted according to the international bibliographic standard APA (American Psychological Association) (see examples of References formatting here: https://apastyle.apa.org/instructional-aids/reference-examples.pdf).
For Latin transliteration of Ukrainian-language texts, you can use programs on the websites ukrlit.org and litopys.org.ua (http://ukrlit.org/transliteratsiia, http://litopys.org.ua/links/intrans.htm)
Mandatory distinction between dashes (–) and hyphens (-), use of quotes in this format – «» ("text"); initials before surnames (e.g., I. I. Ivanov), indications of pages (p. 34), names of settlements (Kyiv), yrs. – years, before square or round brackets, as well as within them – type with a non-breaking space (simultaneous pressing of Ctrl+Shift+Space);
Each abbreviation (or acronym) should be introduced in the text in parentheses after the first mention of the corresponding full phrase, and only then can it be used;
