The article considers the issue of improving the quality of training of future teachers of musical art. European and domestic legislative and regulatory documents are considered, which note the importance of providing educational institutions with competent teachers who are able to implement modern scientific achievements and digital technologies into educational practice. The latest research and publications of domestic and foreign scientists on this issue are analyzed. The three strategies of quality of higher education by R. Barnett, the five dimensions of the quality category in the theory of D. Garvin are considered, the role of a qualified teacher in ensuring the quality of higher pedagogical education is determined. Attention is focused on distance education, which was introduced in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic and Russian military aggression. The specifics, advantages, and factors affecting the quality of distance education are determined. It is emphasized that distance teaching of musical disciplines has difficulties associated not only with Internet connection, but also with the need to replace live pedagogical communication with distance. Digital platforms for organizing video conferences (Moodle, Zoom Workplace, Google Meet, Miro, Google Classroom, Learningapps.org.) are considered, which must be used in the process of training future teachers of musical art in conditions of distance learning. The effectiveness of Teoria.com, Liveworksheets, Kahoot, Online test pad, Blooket, Wizer.me, Musictheory.net for teaching solfeggio and music theory is noted; the use of digital musical instruments for interesting arrangements and compositions, virtual orchestras for studying orchestral scores and getting acquainted with the sound of orchestras is emphasized. It is emphasized that an effective means of improving the quality of training future teachers of musical art is the use of digital audio workstations (DAW), which perform the function of a virtual recording studio.References
