Abstract

The importance of studies of fundamental contradictions and tragic conflicts of cultural development in the process of forming an active-act position of historical-theoretical consciousness of contemporaries, who today should understand the genesis and dangerous consequences of the postmodern crisis of socio-cultural existence, is not said and written. Therefore, the appearance of 2024 in the domestic scientific discourse of the corresponding to all those requirements of the time of the many-illustrated folio "Sixty totalitarian years" of the teacher of the department..... The books, which next year becomes a full edition - a contribution to the historical and cultural study of the visual trajectories of the formation of the Ukrainian nation in the repressive conditions of the colonial regime of the USSR party dictatorship. That is right now, when the "aesthetics of pure negativity" of the post-truth of late capitalism has infected postmodern mercantilism common sense, even representatives of academic circles, we must consider a happy chance of social recovery and purification of ignorance of warring. Project O.Rogotchenko was called not only to establish the objective truth of a retrospective view on the still silent pages of "sanctioned violence" (V. Zebald) in the history of national forming; This project, the relevant history of national memory, strengthened the unification of the energy of the ethno uniqueness of Ukrainian internationalism and covered the struggle of the cultural field for national identity. The released monograph is important first of all because its potential reader becomes artistic youth, who studies the history of world and domestic art. Young people who did not know about a number of unknown facts about the life of creative people in the past periods. After all, the author is first and foremost a teacher, a teacher, which is extremely important for the dissemination of previously prohibited information about totalitarian times and totalitarian art of Ukraine. Today is a study on time.
