Abstract

The process of manufacturing a metal clock is considered as an effective tool for developing the professional skills of future technology teachers. Project-based activity aimed at creating a metal clock ensures the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, promotes the development of engineering thinking, technological literacy, and a creative approach to solving production and technological tasks. The combination of technological operations with artistic design contributes to the formation of designer vision, the ability to analyse and make optimal technological decisions. In the course of implementing the project, students master the specifics of metal-cutting operations, decorative finishing techniques, and the technology of assembling the clock mechanism.
