Policy of ethical requirements for research
The scientific journal "Journal of Cross-Cultural Education" adheres to the principles of academic integrity and ethical responsibility in the publication of scientific research results.
Research, the results of which are submitted for publication, must comply with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine and generally recognized international ethical standards.
Research involving humans
If the research was conducted with the involvement of humans, in particular:
- surveys;
- interviews;
- experimental or psychological studies;
- collection of personal or sensitive data,
authors are required to obtain a positive opinion from the relevant ethics committee (local, institutional or national), if this is provided for by law or internal regulatory documents of the institution where the research was conducted.
Protection of personal and confidential data
Research involving the processing of personal or confidential data must be carried out in compliance with:
- the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on the protection of personal data;
- the principles of informed consent;
- ensuring the anonymity and confidentiality of participants.
Research involving animals and biological materials
In the case of research involving animals or using biological materials, authors are obliged to comply with relevant ethical standards and obtain the necessary permits in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.
Responsibility of authors
Information on obtaining an ethical opinion or on the grounds on which it was not requested must be clearly indicated in the text of the article.
The editorial board reserves the right to request supporting documents in case of reasonable doubts regarding compliance with ethical requirements.
