Open Access Policy

The scholarly journal "Journal of Cross-Cultural Education" adheres to the principles of open science and provides open ("diamond") access to all published materials.

All articles and issues of the journal are freely available for reading, downloading, distribution, and use without any financial, technical, or legal restrictions for either authors or users.

The journal does not charge fees for:

 

submission of manuscripts;

peer review;

editorial processing;

publication and access to full texts.

Licensing and Copyright

Authors retain copyright to their scholarly publications.

Journal materials are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, which permits free use, distribution, and reproduction of the materials provided that the author and the original source of publication are properly credited.

 

Self-archiving Policy

The journal's publisher allows authors to deposit the final accepted version of their article (Author's Accepted Manuscript, AAM) in institutional or subject repositories with open access.

Self-archiving of the AAM is permitted:

 

without embargo, immediately after acceptance for publication;

in open access. When depositing, the author must:

provide the full bibliographic reference to the published article;

include a link to the final published version on the journal's website using the DOI.

Archiving and Long-term Preservation

The journal ensures long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly publications by:

 

hosting full-text articles on the journal's official website;

maintaining an archive of issues with source data;

supporting persistent digital identifiers (DOI);

allowing deposition of materials in open repositories. All articles are available in PDF format and have permanent URLs.

Transparency and Compliance with International Practices

The journal’s open access and archiving policy conforms to the principles of:

recommendations of international initiatives in academic publishing;

requirements for scholarly professional publications of Ukraine, category "B".
