Abstract

The article highlights the role of musical art in the social adaptation of younger schoolchildren, the features of preparing children for instrumental performance, the formation of aesthetic competence of children of primary school age by means of musical art, their involvement in music and performing and creative activities. The purpose of the article is to highlight the role of musical instrumental performance in the social adaptation of primary school age. It is emphasized that a special role in the process of general cultural development of children is played by art as an integral component of the culture of the people, as a way of figurative mastering the surrounding world, as a component of the spiritual life of a person and society. In this regard, the importance of developing issues of using art, in particular, musical, which in a figurative and sound form reflects and generalizes the experience of an individual's emotional attitude to life. Every person needs systematic and purposeful work on the formation and improvement of the experience of an aesthetic attitude, regardless of age, professional orientation, orientation. It is especially important for primary school children, the most favorable period for the development of musical abilities, when the foundations of spirituality, consciousness, aesthetic and moral qualities, general and artistic culture are laid. The authors highlight the pedagogical potential of instrumental musical performance, the role of instrumental musical works in awakening children's interest in art, the formation of aesthetic ideals, understanding and perception of works of art, the development of aesthetic feeling and taste, responsibility for the preservation of the cultural achievements of society, a holistic worldview; the spiritual and intellectual formation of primary school children in the process of performing instrumental musical works, involving children in world values and European musical culture.
