The journal “Actual Problems of Physical Education and Methods of Sports Training” contains the following areas:

- physical culture, physical education of different population groups;

- modern system of sports training and problems of its improvement.

Articles are accepted only with the original author's text, borrowings in the amount of no more than 10% must be documented with references to sources.

By submitting an article to the collection, the authors thereby:

The authors consent to the collection and processing of personal data for the purpose of their inclusion in the database in accordance with the Law of Ukraine № 2297-UI “On Protection of Personal Data” of June 01, 2010.

The language of the manuscript is Ukrainian, English.

THE MANUSCRIPT FILE SHOULD CONTAIN:

Structure of the article submitted to the journal: abstract in Ukrainian and English of at least 1800 characters, including keywords (3 to 8 keywords); introduction, purpose of the study; material and methods of the study; results of the study; discussion; conclusions and prospects for further research.

The text of the article should follow the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion).

The abstract should reflect an abbreviated summary of the article's content with bolded subheadings; relevance of the research topic; research objective; research material and methods; research results; conclusions.

At the end of the abstract, keywords (up to 10 words or stable phrases that reflect the specific features of the study, in particular, the object and subject of the study, the purpose, and the results of the study) are provided. Keywords should not duplicate words from the title of the article.

Metadata (annotations) should be provided in the original language of the article and in English (if the language of the article is English, then in English and Ukrainian).

An example of an article written in Ukrainian (title of the article: “Programming of training classes of highly qualified decathletes in track and field athletics at the stage of direct preparation for competitions").

All abbreviations in the text of the article should be deciphered at the first mention in the text.

The introduction highlights the statement of the problem and its connection with important scientific and practical tasks, as well as an analysis of recent research and publications that have to some extent solved the problems of the general problem of the study to which the article is devoted. The introduction should conclude with the identification of previously unsolved tasks that will be disclosed in the research article.

The purpose of the research must be stated in the article. The purpose should adequately reflect the research topic and contain the expected scientific results in general. Usually, the following words are used to formulate the purpose of the study: to develop, substantiate, establish, identify, and others.

Research material and methods. This section of the article describes the participants of the study (number, age, sports qualifications, etc.). It is important to note that the participants of the study gave their consent to participate in experimental trials in accordance with the 2008 Helsinki Declaration.

The following describes the organization of the study with information about the algorithm and duration of the study.

As for the research methods, they are described in accordance with the purpose and tasks to be solved in the process of scientific research.

On the other hand, the research methods are described so that other researchers can repeat the research on the problem.

Particular attention should be paid to the description of statistical methods. They should be described in detail for the purpose of verifying the data by other researchers.

Parametric or non-parametric criteria, consent criteria, level of significance, etc. are indicated.

The editorial board of the journal reserves the right to request any source data at the stage of article review.

Research results. This is a mandatory structural section of the article, which presents the main research material with full justification of the scientific results obtained, which should be methodologically correct, have a certain novelty and practical significance.

This section should avoid a large number of illustrations - tables, figures. The optimal number of illustrations is 4-6. It is necessary to avoid retelling the data of tables or figures in words. A scientific analysis of the data presented should be more appropriate.

Discussion. Discussion allows you to reveal the truth by comparing different views on how to solve a problem.

In this section of the scientific article, you interpret the material presented in the research results section and compare your own results with the data of other researchers in the specified scientific research. Discussion issues may include the characterization of various scientific and methodological approaches to solving a scientific problem.

Conclusions and prospects for further research. Conclusions should correspond to the purpose of the study and reflect the content of the article.

Conclusions should be concise and reflect the main results of the study. The most optimal number is from 3 to 5 conclusions. The last conclusion should characterize the prospect of further research on the problem studied in the article.

The text of the article should be followed by a list of Sources and Literature (preferably for the last 5 years on the research problem).

The number of sources and literature is 15-25.

The list should include scientific articles by foreign authors or articles published by domestic scientists in publications of category “A”; Scopus, Web of Science (at least 20%). Self-citation should not exceed 25% of the total number of sources. If the text of the article is in Ukrainian, the list of references consists of two parts: Sources and literature according to the international style of citing authors APA (American Psychological Association).

References to authors in the text are made with the author's name and year of publication. For example: The theory of periodization suggests dividing the training process into eight structural formations within the macrocycle (Zhelyazkov, & Dasheva, 2011; Platonov, 2021).

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.The volume of the article is from 12 to 24 pages, including a list of sources and literature, tables, figures and annotations.

2.Text materials should be prepared in MS Word (*.doc).

3.Page parameters: format - A4, margins - 3 cm on the left, 1 cm on the right, 2 cm at the top and bottom, without headers and page numbering.

4.The font of the main text is Times New Roman, the size of the character (point) is 14, normal, lines are hyphenated.

5. Paragraph parameters: alignment - by width; line spacing - 1.5; first line indentation - 1 cm.

6.Tables and figures. The number of tables and illustrations should be appropriate; several figures or tables in a row are not allowed.

Each table, illustration, or figure should be followed by text. The text of the table should be in Times New Roman font, character size (point) - 12, interval - 1. The format of the tables is book format only.

The figure should be a single graphic object (i.e., grouped).

Illustrations should be numbered; they should have names that are indicated outside the grouped graphic object (e.g: Fig. 1. Dynamics of the training process of qualified football players in the preparatory period of the macrocycle).

Each illustration should be followed by a text. Illustrative material must be in contrasting black and white, the method of filling in diagrams is dashed.

Formulas (with standard numbering) are executed in the Microsoft Equation editor. Figure and formula captions should be available for editing. All graphic objects should not be scanned.

The publication of articles in the journal is carried out on a contractual basis at the expense of the authors, the fee is determined separately for each article depending on the number of pages (from 12 to 24 pages).
